Statistics on number of chronic conditions and impairments, mobility status, time interval since resident last saw doctor, length of stay, primary type of service, nurse or nurse's aide on duty, supervisory nurse, and level of patient care in nursing and personal care homes Based on data collected from insti tutions during the period May-June 1964. COOPERATlONOFTHEBUREAUOFTHECENSUS Under the legislation establishing the National Health Sur vey, the Public Health Service is authorized to use, insofar as possible, the services or facilities of other Federal, State, or private agencies. In accordance with specifications established by the Na tional Center for Health Statistics, the Bureau of the Census, under a contractual arrangement, participated in planning the survey and collecting the data.
